Chinese Embassy in Qatar: Chinese citizens are requested to closely monitor the security situation and make reasonable arrangements for travel and transfer plans.

On March 10th, the Chinese Embassy in Qatar issued a reminder: On March 9th, through active coordination by the Chinese Embassy in Qatar, a temporary flight QR892 operated by Qatar Airways successfully arrived in Beijing, safely bringing over 300 Chinese citizens who were stranded in Qatar back to their homeland. Currently, the security situation in Qatar has not significantly improved, and the timeline for the resumption of normal international flight operations remains uncertain. Chinese citizens in Qatar are advised to stay alert to changes in safety conditions, plan their travel accordingly, and pay attention to personal safety. The land border crossings between Qatar and Saudi Arabia remain open. For Chinese citizens who have not yet purchased return tickets or have urgent travel needs, it is recommended to consider alternative routes such as land transit through Saudi Arabia, ensuring safety first.
