Brent crude closed above $100 per barrel for the first time since August 2022, with Middle East crude futures rising 20%

WTI April crude oil futures closed up $8.48, a 9.72% increase, at $95.73 per barrel. Brent May crude oil futures rose 9.2%, closing at $100.46 per barrel, marking the first time since August 2022 that it closed above the psychological level of $100. Middle East Abu Dhabi Murban crude oil futures increased by 20.17%, closing at $121.00 per barrel. NYMEX April natural gas futures settled at $3.2330 per million British thermal units. NYMEX April gasoline futures closed at $2.9646 per gallon, and NYMEX March heating oil futures settled at $3.8989 per gallon.
