CITIC Bank Zhengzhou Branch: Using Quality Services to Help Henan Integrate into the National Unified Market

In recent years, CITIC Bank Zhengzhou Branch has leveraged Henan Province’s strategic location and industrial layout, focusing on integrating Henan into the national unified market strategy. The branch has continuously increased financial support, targeting key areas such as hub economic development, opening-up, and industrial upgrading, providing high-quality financial services to promote high-quality development in Henan.

In supporting the construction of logistics hub corridors, CITIC Bank Zhengzhou Branch participated in syndicated loans organized by financial institutions such as the China Development Bank. It actively coordinated major projects within Henan Province’s “14th Five-Year Plan” modern comprehensive transportation system, offering syndicate loans and project construction loans for railway, highway, and aviation hub upgrades. The branch has also built a comprehensive service system combining “project financing + supply chain finance.” To date, it has participated in financing over ten key provincial transportation and logistics projects in Henan, approving syndicate loans and project loans exceeding 7.5 billion yuan.

To invigorate the consumer and commercial hub, CITIC Bank Zhengzhou Branch has provided group services through corporate onboarding and promoted online via mobile banking, offering consumer finance services across sectors such as home improvement, education, travel, and shopping. From January to February 2026, the branch issued nearly 800 million yuan in consumer “Xinyue Loans.”

In supporting the configuration of key elements, the branch has established a multi-dimensional customer information integration system. Using “Order e-Loans” and “Distributor e-Loans” as entry points, it explores the value of corporate transaction data, transforming data assets into financing and credit enhancement support. So far, the branch has provided 1.7 billion yuan in financing support to 289 small and micro enterprises.

Focusing on enhancing the level of opening-up, CITIC Bank Zhengzhou Branch has optimized service processes for “going global” enterprises and companies within key open platforms such as the aviation port area, offering efficient international settlement and cross-border RMB services. By 2025, the branch will have completed international settlements totaling $8.7 billion and cross-border RMB settlements of 11.8 billion yuan. Relying on digital platforms like Foreign Exchange Trading Pass, it provides online international settlement and foreign exchange services. Currently, the online rate of cross-border remittance and receipt is 60%, and the online rate of spot foreign exchange settlement and sales is 72%.

In supporting the development of key industrial chains, CITIC Bank Zhengzhou Branch focuses on advanced manufacturing clusters such as new materials, electronic information, and biomedicine in Henan Province. It implements a “chain leader + dedicated officer” service model and offers comprehensive financial solutions combining “debt + equity” to support enterprise growth. By 2025, the branch will have provided bond underwriting and M&A financing services to 19 core enterprises in these industrial chains, with a total underwriting and M&A financing scale exceeding 9.3 billion yuan.

To support the development of specialized, innovative, and small and medium-sized technology enterprises, CITIC Bank Zhengzhou Branch has issued over 18.3 billion yuan in specialized and innovative loans, Sci-Tech Innovation Loans, and technology loans, serving a total of 1,880 tech-oriented small and micro enterprises.
