Abstract generation in progress

McDonald’s Corporation successfully defeated all claims in an employment bias lawsuit brought by two Black former executives, while its subsidiary, McDonald’s USA LLC, fended off some race bias and retaliation allegations. A US District Court in Illinois ruled that the former executives lacked sufficient evidence for their claims against the parent company to proceed to a jury, thereby ending their six-year legal battle. However, some claims against McDonald’s USA, including one woman’s retaliation claims and both women’s hostile workplace claims, fared better.
