On March 20th, the 2026 Beijing Bank Beijing City Sub-center Marathon and “Tongbei” Marathon press conference was grandly held at the Hilton Hotel in Beitou, Tongzhou, Beijing. The event was jointly hosted by the People’s Government of Tongzhou District, Beijing, and Beijing State-owned Assets Management Co., Ltd., with co-organizers including the Tongzhou Sports Bureau, the Daxing Hui Autonomous County People’s Government in Langfang, Hebei Province, the Langfang Sports Bureau, Beijing Beiao Group Co., Ltd., the Beijing Athletics Association, and Beijing Sports Expo Culture Publishing Co., Ltd. Beijing Bank, as the exclusive title sponsor, integrated financial services into this 42.195-kilometer spring race.

Walking blooms · Painting a flowing scroll

At the press conference, the Tongzhou Sports Bureau fully announced the event details. The 42.195-kilometer “flowing scroll” gradually unfolds—from the ancient charm of the Millennium Canal to the vitality of the modern new city, from the rapid development of the sub-center to the thriving integration of Tongbei, runners will use their steps to measure every inch of this passionate land.

A tiny space carries the city · Carving moments of glory

The medals for this event are inspired by the theme “A Waterway, Heritage Continues,” with the main design referencing Tongzhou’s landmark building—the Qianhe Shelu Bridge. It spans over the blue waves, connecting history and the future. The water edge features six major Tongzhou landmarks, including the Beijing City Library and the Beijing Grand Canal Museum, capturing the lively spirit of the Grand Canal water system within a small space, linking Tongzhou’s thousand-year-old canal history with modern urban civilization. The medals are made of refined alloy metal, polished to highlight the unique textures of the Qianhe Shelu Bridge; the water area uses a craftsmanship of inner coloring and external transparency to vividly recreate the shimmering visual effect. Additionally, the back of the medal features a customizable finisher’s plaque, making each honor unique.

“Orange” radiance · Lighting up the spring track

The race apparel is made of lightweight, breathable professional sports fabric, balancing functionality and comfort. The cut fits the body, aiming to let runners run lightly and happily in the April spring breeze. The main color is vibrant orange, symbolizing runners’ enthusiasm, sunshine, and vitality, also expressing sincere wishes for every participant to “break waves” and finish smoothly; green accents on the sides outline the winding canal and landmark contours, echoing the ecological foundation of the national forest city. Thousands of runners dressed in orange will gather to form a flowing landscape, lighting up the entire sub-center in spring. Moreover, the organizing committee has customized theme capes for each finisher, completing the “battle attire” with the race clothing, adding a sense of ceremony and blessings.

Beijing running companion · Winning the future

As the exclusive title sponsor of this event, Beijing Bank adheres to the philosophy of “Sincerity breeds trust, professionalism ensures excellence,” actively creating a new cross-border cooperation model of “Finance + Culture & Sports.” Relying on digital technology to upgrade service modes, from service outreach, scene adaptation, product innovation, to quality improvement, it promotes deep integration of capital chains, industrial chains, and innovation chains, fully supporting Beijing’s “Healthy City” development and helping the city sub-center build a beautiful home where “close and far are both welcome, and hearts are drawn.”

At the press conference, Beijing Bank’s wholly owned subsidiary, Beiyin Wealth Management, launched its long-distance financial product—the Spring Series “Changpao Gao Shou” 750-day holding period wealth management product. With professional investment research and long-term investment philosophy, it accompanies citizens on the wealth race track to steady and far-reaching growth, creating wealth together in running and harvesting a better life through perseverance.

Guo Zhentao, President of Beiyin Wealth Management, announced the product

On-site, Beijing Beiao Group awarded a plaque to Beijing Bank as the exclusive title sponsor, thanking Beijing Bank for its support over the years and symbolizing the deep integration of the financial and sports industries.

The spring breeze of the Millennium Canal blows again, calling for the race. The 2026 Beijing Bank Beijing City Sub-center Marathon and “Tongbei” Marathon is about to start. Preparations are underway, and the organizing committee will strive to create a boutique event focused on runner experience, showcasing the vitality of Beijing’s city sub-center, and conveying the rich heritage of Tongbei.

In April,

Beijing Bank and you,

Gallop like a steed, and meet the spring date!
