Abstract generation in progress

The State Administration for Market Regulation announced on March 20th that in response to the illegal issues exposed during the “3.15” evening gala, the bureau has quickly deployed investigations, enforcing strict and swift actions according to the law. They have also conducted interviews and supervision notices with relevant local governments and market regulation departments to firmly protect consumers’ legal rights and interests. Currently, various enforcement actions have achieved the following phased progress:

Regarding the “bleached chicken feet” issue, the bureau organized a special task force to conduct surprise inspections on the involved companies, sealing 27 barrels of hydrogen peroxide (commonly known as “double oxygen water”) and 551 boxes of chicken feet products on-site.

For the “all-purpose exosomes” problem, the local drug supervision departments, in cooperation with health, market regulation, and public security departments, formed inspection teams to confiscate related exosome products on-site. So far, four companies involved, three medical aesthetic institutions, and medical organizations have been legally filed for investigation.

Concerning the “height-increasing marketing tricks,” the local market regulation departments, together with public security and health departments, have conducted investigations and taken action, filing cases against 11 business entities, with related products being sampled for testing.

Regarding the “mystery of experts in private domain marketing,” local market regulation departments, in cooperation with public security, have conducted on-site inspections, extracting electronic data and key evidence from the involved companies, including false course lectures.

For the “raging rental electric bikes” issue, local market regulation departments, along with transportation and public security departments, carried out on-site inspections, collecting rental contracts and live broadcast electronic data, securing evidence such as electric bike license plates and driving licenses, and urging platforms to shut down illegal accounts.

Concerning “who is poisoning AI,” local market regulation departments, in cooperation with public security, conducted on-site investigations of the involved companies, with the police initiating investigations.

Next, the State Administration for Market Regulation will continue working with relevant departments to thoroughly investigate and root out illegal activities, taking action at the first sign of violations. Our stance is: no leniency until the issues are fully clarified, no tolerance for incomplete rectification. The market regulation departments will take concrete actions to respond to societal concerns and strengthen the safety net for consumers.
