Waterfront | Water’s Edge

This week (March 9–13), the market completed the right-side recovery of the “V” pattern, with bullish sentiment increasing. Meanwhile, hot spots continued to rotate, notably with AI computing power segments performing strongly—some stocks hit multiple daily limit-ups, while leading stocks continued to reach new highs, such as Changfei Optical Fiber, Hengtong Optoelectronics, Demingli, and others, which have achieved several times gains from their lows. Our old friends—Bian Huizong, who is skilled at identifying leading stocks’ initiation opportunities—has previously studied these stocks like Changfei Fiber when they were at low levels.

Currently, opportunities in AI computing power-related sectors are still expanding, with mid- and low-priced stocks continuing to rotate higher. The next potential double-up leader may already be in motion.

So, how to seize the low-entry point of leading stocks in real time?

Bian Huizong has a unique analysis system involving key indicators, market sentiment, major capital flows, and other dimensions. Today, I am giving a sneak peek into his recent real-market analysis and investment system, now available for free.

Changfei Fiber and others continue to hit new highs.

Bian Huizong’s “Spoiler” Strategy for Catching Bull Stocks

Reviewing this week’s market highlights, compared to high-volatility sectors like oil and resources, some AI computing segments continue to show long-term trends, with leading stocks demonstrating “steady happiness.” These involve liquid cooling, optical communication (fiber), storage chips, and more. Today, I will focus on fiber optics and storage chips.

Currently, market attention on fiber concept stocks remains optimistic. This week, Changfei Fiber, Hengtong Optoelectronics, FiberHome Technologies, Huiyuan Communications, and Hong Kong-listed Changfei Optical Fiber Cables all reached new highs. Notably, since the “9.24” market rally in 2024, Changfei Fiber’s stock price has increased tenfold, while Hong Kong stocks of Changfei Fiber Cables surged up to twenty times (see Chart 1). In less than two years, a 1 million yuan investment could grow to 20 million yuan.

From industry logic, market focus on the fiber mainline has gone through several phases: the explosive demand driven by 800G/1.6T optical interconnect needs, the midstream tension in optical cable/fiber delivery, and now (March 2026) a new high in hype around computing power optical fibers—driven by upstream capacity bottlenecks of optical rods and the rising prices of single-mode fibers, which have attracted high market attention.

Besides fiber, the storage chip sector, also driven by expanding computing power, is frequently producing bull stocks. AI hardware includes computing, transmission, and storage. Beyond GPUs and optical communication, storage chips are a long-term layout focus. Demingli (which hit a 10-cent limit-up on March 13), Baiwei Storage, and others have reached new highs this week. Puran Co. and similar stocks are also trending long-term bullish.

Currently, the market’s hype around storage chips is in a cycle of sustained growth driven by AI demand. During this phase, rapid iteration and upgrading of AI technology sharply increase demand for high-end storage chips (like HBM), causing supply-demand imbalances and continuous price rises, fueling industry heat.

Whether it’s optical fibers in computing power or storage chips, these investment opportunities—fostered by industry support, price increases, and technological iteration—are expected to extend over a longer period and expand into broader and more detailed fields. Bian Huizong has long conducted forward-looking research on these opportunities, with a focus on industry logic, fundamentals, and leading companies in the supply chain. Many of the popular stocks mentioned above are key case studies from his previous “Bian Learning and Doing” series, such as Changfei Fiber (May 28, 2025; Dec 10, 2025; see Chart 2), Hengtong Optoelectronics (May 28, 2025), Demingli (June 5, 2025), Puran Co. (Sep 16, 2025; Dec 18, 2025; see Chart 3).

It’s worth noting that Bian Huizong has already identified low-entry and rebound opportunities for both Changfei Fiber and Puran Co. How does he capture these breakthrough signals? How to track and discover the next long-term potential leader? He has a distinctive analysis system involving core indicators and major capital flows. Today, I am summarizing and sharing his investment approach for free.

The fiber industry chain faces multiple drivers.

Hengtong Optoelectronics and others are expanding capacity.

What is fiber? Optical fiber is a communication medium that transmits information via total internal reflection of light within glass or plastic fibers. Its core structure includes the fiber core, cladding, and coating layer. The computing power industry chain covers data generation, transmission, storage, computing, and application, with fiber directly supporting efficient data flow and utilization.

Recently, as computing power demand continues to grow, fiber technology is advancing through innovations like hollow-core fiber, multi-mode fiber (MMF), and specialty fibers. Overall, fiber’s high speed, low latency, large capacity, and low energy consumption make it an indispensable infrastructure in the computing power industry chain.

From the industry chain perspective, fiber industry revolves around fiber preform rods, including raw materials, midstream manufacturing, and downstream applications. Upstream raw materials include high-purity quartz sand, fiber coating materials, and specialty fiber materials. Companies like Feikai Materials are important domestic and international suppliers of fiber coatings. Recently, driven by demand from fiber communication and data centers, the fiber industry remains optimistic, likely boosting orders and sales of fiber optic cable and coating materials.

Midstream manufacturing involves fiber preform rods, optical fibers, and cables. Typical companies like FiberHome Technologies focus on full-chain capabilities from rods to fibers to cables, actively developing new fiber products like hollow-core, polarization-maintaining, and radiation-resistant fibers. Downstream applications include AI computing networks, such as data center interconnects (DCI) and intelligent computing centers, as well as 5G/6G networks, ocean communication, quantum communication, low-altitude economy, and industrial internet.

Will there be further opportunities in the fiber industry chain? The answer is relatively certain. Bian Huizong previously emphasized fiber investment opportunities, noting on December 18, 2025, that signs of a turning point in the fiber cycle were emerging, with prices and capacity utilization rates confirming this. AI data center fiber consumption is ten times that of traditional data centers, and with DCI orders increasing, a billion-yuan-level incremental market is opening.

Overall, fiber currently benefits from both long-term industry logic and short-term events. For example, fiber price increases—Yongding Co. states that benefiting from surging global AI infrastructure investment and new applications like fiber drones, market demand remains strong, leading to higher utilization rates and steady fiber prices. Additionally, events like the 2026 Optical Fiber Communication Conference (OFC) scheduled for March 15–19 in the US could stimulate the fiber sector.

Listed companies are also expanding. For instance, Hengtong Optoelectronics recently announced that its advanced optical fiber material R&D and manufacturing capacity expansion project is progressing smoothly; the first phase is complete, and equipment installation is underway. Since late 2025, Hengtong’s stock price has risen multiple times, surpassing double, and recently hitting new highs (see Chart 4).

In conclusion, as a core part of the computing power industry chain, fiber’s industry prosperity is further rising under multiple stimuli. Stock rotation opportunities are likely to continue, with the next popular stocks “Changfei Fiber” and “Hengtong Optoelectronics” already on the way.
