Market entities have appeared falsely claiming to be the "Hainan International Data Asset Exchange" or "Hainan Data Exchange," asserting they can compliantly conduct RWA (Real World Assets) and RDA (Real Data Assets) business. Unapproved entities are prohibited from using the term "exchange" in their names, and their conduct is suspected of involving illegal financial activities. Officials reiterated that the state adopts a "strictly prohibited domestically, strictly regulated internationally" principle regarding RWA tokenization. Any activities conducted domestically in this regard or provision of intermediary and technical services are suspected of illegal token issuance and illegal fundraising, and will be banned according to law.
