Abstract generation in progress

Today (the 11th), China’s independently developed T1200 ultra-high-strength carbon fiber will be launched globally for the first time. This breakthrough fills a gap in the global field and marks a significant leap for China in the production of ultra-high-strength carbon fibers. The T1200 ultra-high-strength carbon fiber, independently developed by China National Building Material Group, is not just a laboratory sample but an industrial product with a production capacity of hundreds of tons. This also makes China the first country in the world to achieve hundreds of tons of mass production of this level of carbon fiber. In simple terms, the diameter of T1200 carbon fiber is less than one-tenth of a human hair strand, but its tensile strength is ten times that of ordinary steel, and its density is only a quarter of steel, making it lightweight and tough. With these excellent properties, it can be widely used in strategic emerging industries such as aerospace, low-altitude economy, and humanoid robots. (CCTV News)
