The Ministry of Labour and the Ministry of Commerce and Industry in Qatar announced the resumption of regular working arrangements in the private sector, retracting the previous remote work recommendation to ensure business continuity and efficiency.

Doha, Qatar: The Ministry of Labour (MOL), in coordination with the Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MoCI), announced on Monday, March 23, 2026, the resumption of regular working arrangements across private sector entities.

The two Ministries also announced the withdrawal of the previous recommendation concerning the adoption of remote work across all private sector entities. Accordingly, work will resume under regular arrangements and return fully to normal.

The decision aims to ensure the continuity of business operations with efficiency and regularity, in implementation of the directives issued by the General Secretariat of the Cabinet regarding the resumption of work at workplaces.
