According to Yonhapnews, Daegu City in South Korea announced it will launch a special crackdown on local tax delinquencies and strengthen investigations into hidden assets, including tracking funds using information from the Financial Intelligence Unit (FIU), and implementing seizures of virtual assets, medical insurance expenses, and various refunds. Local authorities stated they will take measures against malicious high-amount tax delinquents, including restricting business licenses, publishing lists of delinquents, and conducting residential searches.
