Practicing Integrity to Fulfill Our Mission, Professional Excellence to Protect Vision -- Nanjing Huaxia Eye Hospital Receives "Quality Consumption, Co-governance and Sharing" Integrity Commitment Unit Honor Certificate
Reprinted from: Yangtze Evening Post
On March 20th, the “Quality Consumption, Co-Governance, and Shared Trust Commitment” event was held in Nanjing, organized by the Xinhua News Agency Media Group and hosted by Yangtze Evening Post/Ziniu News. As part of the 40th anniversary celebration of Yangtze Evening Post, the event was guided by multiple departments including the Jiangsu Provincial Market Supervision Administration, Jiangsu Consumer Rights Protection Committee, and Jiangsu Department of Commerce. Over 40 representatives from various industry sectors gathered on-site to jointly pledge their commitment to integrity.
Nanjing Huaxia Eye Hospital, as a trusted commitment unit, was specially invited to participate. The hospital representatives signed the “Quality Consumption, Co-Governance, and Shared Trust” pledge alongside other enterprises and received an honorary certificate of integrity commitment, demonstrating their dedication to medical integrity and safeguarding citizens’ eye health.
Multi-party Collaboration to Build a New Consumption Landscape
The “Quality Consumption, Co-Governance, and Shared Trust” event aimed to unite government, media, and enterprise efforts, create a communication platform, and leverage media as a bridge to help establish a new pattern of shared governance and trust in consumption. During the event, Liu Daying, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Xinhua Daily and Editor-in-Chief of Yangtze Evening Post, emphasized the importance of creating a “dialogue platform,” acting as a “catalyst,” and being an effective “amplifier.” Through regular communication, the event seeks to address pain points and issues in the consumption sector, promote exemplary cases of consumer rights protection, and spread the concepts of honest business practices and rational consumption through joint initiatives and risk alerts.
Enterprises are the primary responsible parties for quality consumption. At the scene, General Manager Yu Yuwei of Nanjing Huaxia Eye Hospital solemnly signed the integrity pledge with representatives from various industries, committing to uphold honesty, strictly control quality, protect consumers’ legal rights, and improve the overall consumption experience. The goal is to create a safe and trustworthy consumption environment, boost consumer confidence, and stimulate consumption vitality through dedicated efforts.
Joint Governance to Protect the “Window to the Soul”
Nanjing Huaxia Eye Hospital has always adhered to medical integrity, strictly controlled service quality, standardized medical billing, and protected patients’ legal rights. The hospital is committed to creating a satisfying medical consumption environment. Upholding the service philosophy of “patient-centered,” the hospital has assembled a team led by Director Bao Lianyun, a member of the Jiangsu Medical Association Corneal Disease Group and the Ophthalmology Branch of the Laser Society. Relying on advanced diagnostic and treatment equipment and high-quality medical resources from the group, the hospital provides patients with high-quality, personalized ophthalmic medical services.
In the future, Nanjing Huaxia Eye Hospital will actively respond to the “Quality Consumption, Co-Governance, and Shared Trust” initiative, strictly fulfill its integrity commitments, continuously enhance medical quality and service standards, and work with industry peers to promote integrity in ophthalmic healthcare. The hospital aims to build a safe, transparent, and high-quality medical consumption environment, safeguard the eye health of the public, and protect each patient’s “window to the soul.”
