According to the People's Daily, the General Office of the Communist Party of China Central Committee and the General Office of the State Council recently issued the "Regulations on Clean Conduct of State-owned Enterprise Leadership Personnel." Article 7 of the regulations clearly states that state-owned enterprise leadership personnel shall not use their authority or official influence to seek private interests, including not accepting or soliciting gifts, monetary gifts, securities, virtual currency and other valuables provided by affiliated enterprises, business-related units, and management service objects, nor shall they agree to accept such items after leaving office or retirement.
