Anthropic banned the use of its packages to access OpenClaw starting April 4. Claude Code's creator, Boris Cherny, stated that from 3 PM Eastern Time, third-party tools will be blocked unless used with specific packages or APIs.

On April 4, Anthropic officially banned the use of its own packages to access OpenClaw. Boris Cherny, the father of Claude Code, announced that starting at 3 PM Eastern Time on April 4 (3 AM Beijing Time on April 5), Claude will block all third-party tools, and these tools can only be used with additional packages or APIs.
