Anthropic announces that the Claude subscription service will no longer include access rights to third-party tools such as OpenClaw.

Deep Tide TechFlow message, April 04, Anthropic announced that starting April 5, Claude subscription services will no longer cover usage permissions for third-party tools such as OpenClaw. Anthropic stated that the current subscription model was not designed for how third-party tools are used; this change is intended to prioritize a better user experience for users who directly use Claude products and the API, to achieve sustainable growth. Existing subscribers will receive a one-time credit compensation equal to the monthly subscription fee, and they can also choose to buy a discounted usage package or apply for a full refund via email.
