#GT Hits ATH – What’s Next? 💰 Bitcoin and Ether ETFs See Massive Inflows at the Start of 2025
📈 On Monday, January 6, 2025, Bitcoin and Ether ETFs in the U.S. kicked off the year with a strong start, recording total inflows of $1.1 billion. Leading this surge were Fidelity and BlackRock, dominating the incoming investments.
📉 The year began with a decline on Thursday, January 2, as both ETFs experienced outflows totaling $277.9 million. However, the following day marked a significant turnaround, with $966.89 million flowing back into the ETFs. This shift signals renewed investor confidence in crypto-focused ETFs.
💵 Out of the total inflows, Bitcoin and Ether ETFs received $987 million, while Ether-focused ETFs attracted $128.7 million. According to data from Sosovalue, the largest contributions came from Fidelity’s FBTC with $370.24 million, BlackRock’s IBIT with $209.08 million, and CBOE ETFs by Ark & 21 Shares, bringing in $152.92 million.
🔗 Other Bitcoin ETFs also saw positive inflows, with BTC and GBTC by Grayscale pulling in over $75 million, and BITB by Bitwise adding $71.19 million. Currently, spot Bitcoin ETFs hold $116.67 billion worth of BTC, accounting for 5.77% of Bitcoin’s total market cap.
💧 For Ether-focused ETFs, BlackRock’s ETHA led the way with inflows of $124.1 million, followed by Fidelity’s FETH at $4.62 million. Collectively, the nine Ether ETFs manage $13.47 billion in ETH, representing 3.03% of Ether’s total market cap.
