Gate News bot reported that hackers stole the Instagram account of hip-hop group Migos (which has 13 million followers) and released private information such as the identity document and mobile phone number of Solana co-founder Raj Gokal. The leak included ID photos of Raj Gokal himself and what appeared to be his wife, with the hackers commenting “You should have paid the 40 BTC”. This suggests that Gokal (who is also the president of Solana Labs) may have been blackmailed before the leak. The hacker’s last post was accompanied by a Telegram group chat link.

These Instagram posts have not been deleted for more than an hour after being uploaded. As of local time Tuesday at 12:12 AM, these posts have been deleted.

Solana Labs has not yet responded to this event.
