The Trump family is strengthening its ties with the Cryptocom exchange.

Trump Media Group and its companies have entered into a wide-ranging partnership with the Crypto-com exchange. The Trump Media, consisting of entities like Truth Social, Truth+, and Truth.Fi, will initially integrate the CRO token into their platforms. Subscription payments can be made with CRO tokens, and rewards can also be received in this token.

105 million dollar CRO token purchased

According to the agreement, Trump Media made a purchase of 105 million dollars worth of CRO tokens. With this amount, 2% of the token’s supply belongs to Trump Media. The tokens will be stored on the Crypto-com exchange, and interest income will be generated through staking.

On the other hand, the Crypto-com exchange also acquired $50 million worth of Trump Media shares.

CRO treasury company established: 1 billion dollar purchase will be made

The partnership of the parties was not limited to these. In a separate statement made, it was noted that a CRO treasury strategy company named Trump Media Group CRO Strategy has also been established.

Following the merger with Yorkville Acquisition Corp, a special purpose acquisition company that is a subsidiary of Yorkville, which we remember from Trump’s companies’ ETF applications, this new entity has come into existence.

This new company will make a quite high purchase of 1 billion dollars worth of CRO tokens. The company will also hold 200 million dollars in cash. With additional investments to be made, this newly established company aims to reach a capacity of 6 billion dollars.

It had also been included in the ETF

As a reminder, the CRO token was also included in the fund called “Crypto Blue Chip ETF”. Trump Media is still awaiting approval from the SEC for this ETF. The ETF includes Bitcoin, Ether, Solana, XRP, and CRO.

After the news, the CRO token saw an increase of over 25% and the token price rose above 0.20 dollars.
