DeFi Jupiter majorly restructured the DAO model

Jupiter announces a major structural adjustment in the JUP ecosystem. The project's DAO will shift to a governance model focused on efficiency, reducing the number of proposals and dissolving working groups. The JUP conversion time is also shortened from 30 days to 7 days.

The DAO will hold a separate vote to decide on burning 121 million JUP currently held by Litterbox Trust, which accounts for approximately 3.8% of the circulating supply. After that, another vote will take place to decide how to manage future revenues.
