According to Deep Tide TechFlow news, on November 3, during the “Reshaping Custody Strategy with Digital Assets” themed roundtable at the Hong Kong FinTech Week, HashKey Capital CEO Deng Chao stated that as the regulatory system and professional infrastructure become increasingly mature, the best time for institutions to enter the crypto market has arrived.

Deng Chao pointed out that since 2018, HashKey has managed several institutional-grade funds, witnessing the entire process of the industry from early exploration to institutional development. Now, with the regulatory frameworks in Hong Kong and Singapore continuously improving, compliance and professionalism are becoming new turning points for blockchain finance.

He further stated that HashKey, operating under the model of “global operations and local compliance,” is continuously expanding its markets in Asia, the Middle East, and Europe from Hong Kong, and is committed to building a global institutional digital asset ecosystem. In his view, the key trend in the next phase will be the deep integration of real-world assets (RWA) and digital asset treasury (DAT).

“The internet carries information, while blockchain carries value,” Deng Chao summarized, “Anything that has value should eventually be put on the chain.”
