BiyaPay Analyst: Zuckerberg personally cooks soup to recruit top AI talent from OpenAI

According to TechFlow, on December 8, OpenAI Chief Research Officer Mark Chen revealed on a podcast that the AI “talent war” in Silicon Valley has escalated to the point of delivering soup—Mark Zuckerberg personally cooked and delivered soup to the homes of OpenAI researchers, and OpenAI responded by returning the favor with their own soup. Chen stated that OpenAI’s core research team consists of about 500 people and 300 projects, emphasizing that it is still essentially a research-driven company with strong confidence in its pre-training approach and next-generation models. He also mentioned that “with 10 times more computing power, it could be fully utilized within weeks.” BiyaPay analysts believe that the arms race for talent and computing power among top AI labs will accelerate the differentiation of model capabilities and drive up demand for computing power assets and infrastructure, benefiting investors who allocate US stocks, Hong Kong stocks, and digital assets through BiyaPay.
