Ripple launches Ripple Treasury worth $1 billion, managing digital assets for enterprises

Ripple has introduced Ripple Treasury, an enterprise-grade platform that allows companies to manage traditional cash and digital assets within the same system, following the acquisition of the treasury management software company GTreasury valued at $1 billion.

This platform enables corporate finance departments to transfer money across borders using Ripple’s stablecoin RLUSD, with settlement times of just 3–5 seconds, instead of the 3–5 business days typical of traditional bank transfers.

According to Ripple, the system is designed to reduce idle capital and simplify liquidity management for global corporations. Ripple Treasury integrates directly with existing treasury management processes via API, synchronizing balances and transactions from digital asset platforms into a unified dashboard for cash, debt, and short-term investments.

The goal is to help businesses view crypto infrastructure as an extension of their existing banking systems, rather than a separate channel that requires manual management.

Beyond payments, the platform also connects clients to overnight repo markets and tokenized money market funds, including BlackRock’s BUIDL. This allows companies to generate yields on surplus funds 24/7, rather than leaving idle capital in bank accounts outside of business hours.

This is Ripple’s first major product since completing the acquisition of Chicago-based GTreasury last October. Ripple also leverages infrastructure from Hidden Road — the prime brokerage firm they acquired earlier — to provide access to short-term financing markets.
