BlockBeats news, on July 26th, according to the Snapshot governance page, the GMX community initiated a proposal to vote on changing the income distribution model to repurchase and distribute GMX, suggesting to change the current income distribution model of GMX from ‘repurchasing ETH and distributing ETH’ to ‘repurchasing GMX and distributing GMX’. The proposal states that this change aims to leverage the advantages of ‘repurchasing’ to enhance the long-term value preservation ability of GMX, optimize user experience and protocol strategic flexibility, while minimizing model changes and fully retaining the advantages of ‘real income’.
