Jun Watanabe, Chairman of Sony’s Block Solutions Labs, and Sota Watanabe, CEO of Startale Labs (Co-founder of Astar Network), introduced the specific details of Sony’s Layer2 network Soneium at the conference. The speech mentioned the utility expansion of Astar Token ASTR, which will not only continue to play a role on the existing Layer1 network Astar Network, but also expand to Soneium for deployment in multiple projects on Soneium. In addition, Astar zkEVM will also migrate to Soneium Layer2, which is expected to further expand the community scale of Astar.
