After a great 2024 for Bitcoin (BTC) and cryptocurrencies, there is very little time left for 2025. Expectations for a strong bull rally for BTC and altcoins and reaching new ATHs are starting to emerge for 2025.

At this point, Swiss cryptocurrency bank Sygnum Bank has released a report containing 2025 forecasts.

Sygnum Bank stated in its report that it expects an increase in institutional entries by 2025 and said that institutional entries could push Bitcoin prices up even more.

The bank stated that each net 1 billion dollars in spot ETF inflows in the US increases the BTC price by 3-6%.

Sygnum’s Chief Customer Officer Martin Burgherr said the following in his statement:

“With the increasing regulatory clarity in the US and the potential recognition of Bitcoin as a central bank reserve asset, there could be a major explosion in institutional Bitcoin participation by 2025. This will further drive up the price.”

Outlook Uncertain for Altcoins!

Sygnum analysts are optimistic about the price of Bitcoin for 2025, while stating that the outlook for altcoins is uncertain.

At this point, analysts predict that altcoins will lag behind Bitcoin without supportive US laws.

Sygnum emphasized the importance of the Financial Innovation and Technology Act (FIT21) and the Stable Crypto Payment Act for cryptocurrencies in the 21st century.
