Las Vegas, Jan. 8 (Xinhua) – Experience the ‘AI Power’ of Chinese brands at the Consumer Electronics Show in the United States.

From January 7th to 10th, 2025, the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) will be held in Las Vegas, Nevada. This is one of the world’s largest consumer technology industry events, and it is also a major event in the technology field at the beginning of the year. It is regarded as a barometer for observing the latest technological achievements and development trends in international consumer electronics.

Thousands of companies from 166 countries and regions, including 323 Fortune Global 500 companies, gathered here to showcase the latest achievements in game-changing technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI), quantum computing, and cutting-edge digital health solutions. Among them, AI is undoubtedly the hottest topic at CES 2025. From AI chips to new applications and solutions driven by AI technology, they can be seen everywhere at this year’s CES exhibition.

It is worth noting that many Chinese companies have brought AI new products with cutting-edge technology to the stage. In the two days since the opening of CES, reporters from China News Service have interviewed many Chinese exhibitors to experience the “AI power” of Chinese brands.

Hisense: ‘AI Your Life’

At this year’s CES, the well-known Chinese home appliance company Hisense has clearly put forward the theme of “AI Your Life”, demonstrating smart home, smart city, sustainable smart energy solutions, and AI technology innovation applications, dedicated to bringing a better smart life experience to global users.

He said that relying on years of industrial layout and technological accumulation, Hisense will break the boundaries of AI technology and integrate it into daily life, making the future life within reach. Over the past 20 years of participation, CES has witnessed Hisense’s move to the center stage. BOE: Joining hands with Qualcomm to create a new “AI Vision and Audio Center”

This year, the Internet of Things innovation enterprise BOE’s CES exhibition area has doubled compared to last year, showcasing more than 60 innovative technology products and diverse IoT scene technology solutions. For the first time, it has released the ‘HERO’ plan for application scenarios in the intelligent automotive era overseas. Its in-car splicing scroll flexible display system has also won the ‘CES Innovation Award’ for 2025.

In particular, the launch of the new concept “AI Audiovisual Center” by BOE and Qualcomm has attracted significant attention from the participants.

It is reported that BOE released the industry’s first 65-inch 4K ultra-high-definition “AI Audiovisual Center” (All-in-one AI Media Center), which adopts the core board designed by BOE based on Qualcomm chip, and is equipped with BOE’s immersive intelligent display technology, with computer vision and generative AI intelligent functions, bringing a smarter experience for home entertainment scenes.

Wen Xingye, Vice President of BOE, said that the “AI Audiovisual Center” marks a further deepening and expansion of the cooperation between BOE and Qualcomm in the field of IoT applications, and expects both parties to continuously empower a wider range of diverse work and life scenarios.

A senior official from Qualcomm also said, “The wave of generative AI is bringing a whole new revolution to the way we live and entertain. We are very pleased to make this groundbreaking ‘AI audiovisual center’ a reality through leading AI computing capabilities at the device end.”

TCL: Focusing on key directions to build core AI capabilities

This year marks the 32nd participation of TCL, a pioneer in the globalization of Chinese enterprises, in CES. Starting from a modest 9-square-meter booth at its first exhibition, TCL’s booth size is expected to exceed 2300 square meters by 2025, making it the Chinese enterprise with the largest exhibition area at CES for consecutive years.

As the exhibition area continues to grow, TCL’s exhibited products have also upgraded from basic consumer electronics to cutting-edge display, AI applications, all-category smart IoT ecosystem technologies, products, and solutions. This time, TCL Corporation and TCL Technology jointly participated in the exhibition, not only showcasing innovative products leading the upgrade of display technologies such as Mini LED and printed OLED, but also focusing on the development and practical application of AI technology, integrating art and sports IP to create an exciting experience of technology and humanities.
