Twitter account @TrumpDailyPosts, with over a million followers, specializes in tweeting daily news related to Trump. On the morning of 1/21, he tweeted about a new meme coin called POWER, claiming it to be the “new official Trump meme coin”, which attracted many communities and media in the coin world. However, the post was quickly reported as fake news by the Twitter community and POWER was reset to zero within hours.
The founder of the cybersecurity company SlowMist stated that this is related to the news about Trump, but it is not related to Trump personally. The hacked account is the creator’s address, and the gas source of SideShift, the same platform where MetaMask co-founder’s Farcaster account was stolen and a meme gas was released.
