High-performance compute infrastructure has traditionally kept advanced tools locked behind corporate gatekeeping—the biggest players get the best access while others get left out. That's the bottleneck holding back genuine innovation.
What if compute resources could work differently? A decentralized approach removes the "who you know" factor entirely. By pooling compute through a transparent, verifiable network, anyone can access enterprise-grade performance based on merit, not connections. All transactions and allocations stay on-chain and auditable.
That's the opportunity in truly open infrastructure—breaking down barriers, not just shifting who controls them.

It sounds ideal, but how many projects can truly achieve decentralized distribution? Most are just changing owners.

ngl This is what Web3 should do: break monopolies rather than replace one with another.

lol "merit-based" compute access, sure... watched this exact narrative play out since Mt. Gox era. it's always "truly open" until the whale nodes start accumulating 60% of network resources anyway. not saying it won't work but reading between the lines here

Well said, isn't this exactly what decentralization is supposed to do?
