After raising $30 million, how will RuneSoul reshape the Web3 gaming distribution ecosystem?

Abstract generation in progress

【Crypto World】RuneSoul just announced the completion of a $30 million strategic financing. What will this money be used for? It’s not simply poured into marketing, but rather invested in underlying architecture reconstruction and brand upgrading. This reflects a key shift in the project: from a pure GameFi gaming project to an aggregation launch platform for Web3 games.

It sounds idealistic, but upon closer inspection of their plan, it’s quite interesting. The project positions itself as a “connector,” linking game developers on one side and global players on the other. On the developer side, lowering barriers for chain upgrades and publishing allows small and medium teams to enter Web3; on the player side, connecting global gaming communities, guilds, and traffic channels.

More importantly, a complete service chain—covering asset issuance, user growth, incentive mechanism design, on-chain data analysis, and final settlement—is handled seamlessly. This approach is somewhat like a combination of Steam and publishing middleware; in other words, aiming to become the infrastructure between Web3 game developers and players.

Whether this direction is right or feasible, the market will give the answer. But at least from the scale of financing and strategic direction, RuneSoul is seriously considering the real pain points of the Web3 gaming ecosystem.

30 million invested just to lower the threshold for chain upgrades? That's a nice way to put it; the key is how they execute it moving forward.

30 million spent just to lower the threshold for chain upgrades? Sounds good, but in reality, developers still have to pay gas themselves to run testnets. I've calculated this bill so many times.

30 million invested just to lower the threshold for chain upgrades? Sounds great, but whether it can actually be implemented...
