How far is quantum computing from threatening the crypto world? The answer is: much closer than you think.

According to predictions, truly capable quantum computers that can threaten current cryptography may emerge between 2027 and 2033. By then, the EVM ecosystem worth over $300 billion could face unimaginable consequences if not prepared in advance. This is also why the emergence of QRL 2.0 has attracted much attention.

The core advantage of this solution is clear: it maintains compatibility with EVM, allowing users to avoid migrating contracts, and is built on quantum-resistant cryptography technology validated over the past seven years. In other words, this is not just theoretical; it has practical foundations.

Currently, the progress is that the QRL 2.0 testnet (V2 version) is expected to go live in the first quarter of 2026. After that, it still needs to pass audits before the mainnet can be officially launched. Although the timeline is tight, it sends a clear signal to the market: quantum security is no longer optional but a survival issue.

Another "wolf is coming" narrative. The word "crisis in 2027" I heard back in 2017, it's just the same old story with a different wrapper. I believe in the logic of QRL, but when the market truly reaches a critical point, who will still remember the original promises?

Will quantum computing arrive in 2027? I need to quickly stock up on anti-quantum assets. Quantum technology is really not alarmist talk—300 billion just gone like that? Is QRL reliable? Has anyone used it? I don't want to get caught in a scam. The testnet is launching in Q1 next year—this pace is a bit fast. Migration and audits again—feels like another big show. It seems everyone is betting on who can survive until the day of the quantum era.

Will 2027 arrive? Now it's really panic time.

Hmm... $300 billion just disappeared like that? Better hop on the QRL train quickly.

Wait, is quantum computing really coming so soon? It sounds a bit alarmist... But on the other hand, if the $300 billion ecosystem really encounters problems, we should definitely be prepared in advance. Is the QRL system reliable? Has anyone used it?

Really? 2027 is coming? It feels quite far, but when you do the math, it does seem a bit urgent. Damn, instead of worrying about quantum threats, I'm still thinking about when I can buy the dip. QRL sounds good, but we’ll see if it works only after the mainnet launches. Everyone's talking about survival now, so what should we stockpile? Seven years of validation sounds decent, but I'm worried about more issues during the audit process. If it really runs away, $300 billion will just disappear, and that’s scary to think about... but isn’t that also an opportunity? EVM can still be salvaged, but it depends on the official actions—whether they can deliver.

Wait, facing the quantum threat within 6 years? That’s crazy. Just remembered I need to quickly check if the coins I hold are at risk... If QRL can really solve the compatibility issues this time, it will be different, saving us the trouble of migration. 2027 is really not far away, it feels like there’s not much time left to react.
