There's an interesting coincidence in timing: a well-known exchange founder sold his house and went all-in on the crypto space in 2014, the Year of the Horse, when most people were still watching from the sidelines. Fast forward to 2026, another Year of the Horse, and he plans to release a new book to reflect on this journey. This cyclical pattern makes one can't help but speculate—how does the story unfold from being a programmer to becoming a key industry figure, experiencing the baptism of bear and bull markets?

Someone has brainstormed several possible book titles: "Leading the Charge: From Coder to Industry Benchmark," "Riding the Wave: The Ups and Downs of a Crypto Life," "Horse to Success: My Web3 Entrepreneurship Journey"... Each title hints at a different narrative focus. No matter what the final name is, this book can inspire others in the community—after all, those who went all-in on crypto in 2014 and persisted until today have truly experienced waves that most people can hardly imagine.

Selling a house all-in in 2014, this guy is really ruthless and truly lucky. It's been 12 years and he still hasn't run away, now that's a story. Publishing a book in the Year of the Horse does have some significance, but I find the title a bit awkward. "Success upon Arrival" — this title sounds like something a marketing account would come up with. It should have been written earlier; these experiences are legendary for anyone. Hitting the jackpot once versus winning for ten years—are they the same? That's the real essence. But to be honest, if this book really gets published, 80% of it would be chicken soup. What I want to see are real failure details, not condensed success stories. This cycle timing was well played, but the bottoming in 2014 and the review in 2026 are worlds apart. Those who haven't experienced the 2018 bear market halving can't understand this guy's mental resilience.

The hardcore all-in person of 2014, back then it was either madness or genius. Looking now, it's a bit of both. Selling a house to enter the crypto world... how bold do you have to be? I was still questioning life at that time. Publishing a book in the Year of the Horse, this marketing stunt is quite bold, but the story itself is truly solid. Only those who have truly lived until today are qualified to tell this story. Not everyone can survive those massacres. Ten years have passed like this, it's a bit surreal. The key to this book's success isn't the title, but that he didn't die in a bear market. If he hadn't gone all-in in 2014, he might still be coding now.

2014, those who dared to go all-in were really tough people. Now looking back, it’s a bit outrageous. Publishing a book in the Year of the Horse, this gimmick definitely hit the mark, but the most authentic part of the story might be hard to write. From coder to exchange boss, how many brain cells must have died in between? If this book really dares to be written, it should be more valuable than any motivational book. Those who have persisted until now should publish a book; everyone is a legend.

2014 all-in was really intense, at that time no one could see the direction clearly Those who have persisted until now truly have a different level of mental resilience Publishing a book in the Year of the Horse is a bit showy, this meme must have taken a long time to come up with From a coder to a major exchange boss, this contrast is indeed worth writing about The book title "Survived" is the most honest, haha A 12-year holding cycle, to be honest, was a correct gamble It feels like there are many key decision points worth reviewing But frankly, this story offers limited inspiration to most people
