Are Bitcoin long-term holders accumulating? On-chain data reveals subtle market shifts

【Crypto World】Recently, the Bitcoin market has been quite interesting. Those who have held long-term (LTH) are starting to slow down their selling actions. According to data, the LTH distribution pressure index has dropped to -1.628, indicating that they are not dumping, but rather quietly accumulating.

Specifically, the daily expenditure of long-term holders is only 221 BTC, hitting a recent low. Although their SOPR remains at the profitable level of 1.13, there are no signs of active selling—this feels like market control. When Bitcoin’s price hovers around $89,000, this restraint directly compresses market circulation, weakening seller pressure.

The spot market signals are also very clear. The 90-day spot trader CVD indicator shows that real money is flowing in, not just leverage traders’ bluffing. Although Bitcoin has already broken out of the previous downtrend channel, it still oscillates within the range of $84,473 to $93,476.

Liquidation data from another perspective confirms this—shorts were liquidated for $4.64 million, while longs only $1.95 million. Shorts took a hit here, and downward pressure isn’t that strong.

Overall, the market is currently in a controlled consolidation phase with a relatively stable structure. The signals from long-term holders’ behavior are worth paying attention to.
