A recent market research report provides a comprehensive outlook on the crypto ecosystem by 2026, covering Bitcoin prices, mainstream coin performance, regulatory changes, and more.

Regarding Bitcoin, forecasting agencies believe it is still possible to reach historic highs by 2026. The current implied prices in the options market indicate a 50% chance that Bitcoin will be around $70,000 by the end of June, and a 50% chance it could surge to $130,000; by the end of the year, there is an equal probability of $50,000 or $250,000. This wide price range somewhat reflects market expectations divergence. However, in the short term, as long as BTC does not stabilize above $100,000 to $105,000, downward pressure remains. Optimists, however, expect BTC to reach $250,000 by the end of 2027.

For other coins, the Solana ecosystem is unlikely to see the advancement of inflation reduction plans this year—current SIMD-0411 proposal is expected to be withdrawn directly without a vote. Meanwhile, the ratio of application revenue to network revenue is expected to double.

On the regulatory front, the US Securities and Exchange Commission may face lawsuits from traditional financial institutions or industry organizations due to its innovation exemption policies. Another clear trend is that traditional finance is beginning to embrace on-chain assets—at least one major bank or brokerage is expected to accept tokenized stocks as collateral.

In trading ecosystems, the position of decentralized exchanges (DEXs) is rising, with DEXs expected to account for over 25% of total spot trading volume. Additionally, the weekly trading activity on prediction markets (such as leading prediction platforms) is forecasted to remain above $1.5 billion.

Finally, in the ETF sector, the US market is expected to launch over 50 spot altcoin ETFs, along with another 50 other types of crypto ETF products (excluding single-coin spot products). This will further expand the ecosystem of spot crypto ETFs in the US.

BTC worth $250,000? Nice way to put it, why not say $500,000? It's all gambling anyway.

Wait a minute... How is this 50% probability distribution calculated? There must be whales testing the order book prices behind the scenes. I’ll check the recent large transfer records... --- SIMD-0411 directly withdraw without voting? That’s too suspicious. There must be institutions applying pressure from behind. --- Traditional finance embracing on-chain assets? Wake up, everyone. This is just their prelude to entering the market to buy the dip. Keep a close eye on the movements of institutional wallets. --- DEX share surpasses 25%... Huh, how is this number calculated? Could there be volume manipulation involved? --- Fifty types of altcoin ETF simultaneously launched? That’s a clear signal of a pump-and-dump scheme. I need to review the on-chain flow. --- $250,000... Sounds good, but now even $105,000 can’t be stabilized. These forecasting institutions are probably just storytelling.

This prediction is really crazy, Bitcoin at $250,000? Just listen to it. Traditional finance is really close to starting tokenized assets, the banks can't sit still. DEX market share surpassing 25%, now centralized exchanges should be panicking. Over 50 altcoin ETFs launching together? Is the US SEC trying to get grandma investors all in? The SIMD proposal for Solana was directly withdrawn without voting, this move is a bit outrageous... but doubling application revenue is not bad. Honestly, with such a big market disagreement, a 50% probability distribution is the same as saying nothing. Let's wait until BTC breaks $105,000.

$250,000? Laughing to death, how optimistic is that --- Both option prices and a 50% probability, in plain words, no one really knows --- Solana's inflation reduction is a bust, but application revenue doubling? That's the real move --- Traditional finance embracing on-chain assets, are banks really going to get serious or just talking big? --- DEX market share surpassing 25%, the market is really shifting now --- 50 types of altcoin ETF launches... Is the US planning to turn crypto into index funds? --- BTC needs to stay above $100,000, or else it will keep getting hammered --- The weekly trading volume of the prediction market exceeds $1.5 billion, but I’m not so sure about that --- Talking so much, better wait and see how 2026 unfolds, what's the point of predictions --- Traditional finance accepting tokenized stocks as collateral? If that really happens, it would be a huge deal
