Privacy finance has indeed been quite popular in the crypto market over the past two years. As a core player in the privacy track, DUSK has built "privacy protection" and "compliance" into two main supporting pillars from the technical foundation.

Speaking of technical highlights, DUSK's mixing protocol (Dusk Mixer) is particularly interesting—it can completely anonymize transaction information. Through the zero-knowledge proof (ZK-SNARKs) technology system, when users transfer or trade, key information such as addresses, amounts, and trading counterparts are not exposed. This directly solves the old problem of traditional public chains being "transparent but lacking privacy."

In addition to privacy transactions, DUSK has also focused on performance and compatibility. Using a PoS consensus mechanism lowers the node entry barrier, and transaction confirmation speeds can reach seconds—significantly improving efficiency compared to Bitcoin and Ethereum. More conveniently, the DUSK ecosystem supports EVM compatibility, which means DeFi projects and NFT applications on Ethereum can migrate smoothly, retaining their original functions while gaining additional privacy protection.

In practical applications, privacy DEXs, privacy NFT marketplaces, and decentralized identity verification have already been implemented and are operational. Ordinary users have their own privacy needs, and institutional investors have theirs—such as large asset allocations, where privacy transaction features can be useful to protect commercial information and mitigate risks.

Wait, are ZK-SNARKs really reliable? Won't they be broken in actual use? But I have to say, the DUSK approach is indeed pretty good—privacy and compliance handled together. Instant confirmation is quite impressive, much better than ETH. By the way, regarding EVM compatibility, could it be another "jack of all trades" project that ends up not excelling at anything? Do privacy DEXs have real trading volume, or are they just conceptual?

Privacy chains definitely need to be looked at carefully, but can we really trust the ZK stuff? Feels like I've been hearing about it for over a year and it's still a bit vague.

Mixing protocol sounds advanced, but how many can actually be used? I've been hearing about the ZK stuff for two years, can DUSK really come out? Let's wait and see. Second-level confirmation is good, but do privacy transactions really have volume, or is it all hype? EVM compatibility is solid, but if security can't be guaranteed, it's pointless. Institutional big players do need privacy, but how does regulation view this? Sounds good, but on-chain data speaks for itself; don't just talk on paper. Privacy NFT market? Seems not very popular, who is actually using it? Balancing compliance and privacy is indeed difficult; can DUSK really get everything?

Zero-knowledge proofs are indeed excellent, but there are still few projects that can truly be used in practice. DUSK has a pretty good approach.
