Deep Tide TechFlow News, February 12 — According to Cryptopolitan, Kyrgyzstan’s cryptocurrency industry has become one of the fastest-growing sectors of the country’s economy, processing over $20.5 billion in transactions in 2025 and contributing $22.8 million in tax revenue.
According to Temir Kazybaev, Chairman of the Kyrgyz Virtual Asset Market Participants Association, this tax revenue has surpassed the combined total of Kyrgyzstan’s largest commodity trading center, Dordoi Bazaar ($7.9 million), and all patent tax revenues ($13.6 million). Currently, Kyrgyzstan has over 200 registered cryptocurrency exchanges and 11 mining companies operating, with the government actively improving relevant regulations and adding legal definitions for cryptocurrencies and stablecoins.
