Deep Tide TechFlow News, February 18th, according to Tech Startups, NVIDIA announced on Wednesday a collaboration with several leading venture capital firms in India, including Peak XV Partners, Z47, Elevation Capital, Nexus Venture Partners, and Accel India, to jointly identify and fund AI startups at all stages in India. Currently, over 4,000 Indian AI startups have joined the NVIDIA Inception program, which provides technical guidance, development tools, and GPU resources to early-stage companies.
This partnership announcement coincides with an important AI summit held in India. From a broader perspective, the Indian government is actively promoting the “IndiaAI Mission,” having approved approximately $18 billion in semiconductor projects, and is expected to attract up to $200 billion in data center investments over the coming years.
Adani Group announced a $100 billion investment to build AI data centers, while Amazon, Microsoft, and Google have collectively committed over $50 billion. NVIDIA is also collaborating with local cloud service providers such as Yotta, Larsen & Toubro, and E2E Networks to deploy AI chip clusters and is promoting the Nemotron series AI models that support training in local languages.
