Liquidity pressures in the financial system spiked into year-end:
Demand for the Fed’s Standing Repo Facility (SRF) just jumped to $75 billion, the highest since the facility became permanent in 2021.
The SRF enables banks to borrow cash from the Fed, using government bonds as collateral, acting as a key source of liquidity support for the financial system.
The elevated stress stems from banks stepping back from private short-term funding markets to present stronger balance sheets at the end of the calendar year.
While seasonal pressures are typical at the end of December, the scale of Fed bor

BITCOIN IS ENTERING A HIGH-RISK DECISION WINDOW.
The structure keeps repeating:
– Market tops out
– Leverage gets flushed
– Price bounces and confidence returns
– Pressure rebuilds quietly underneath
That bounce isn’t confirmation.
Historically, it’s the handoff.
From here, upside is still possible.
A move toward the $100K–$105K area can happen.
But that zone has never been about celebration.
It’s where risk shifts and positioning changes.
This is the moment that decides what comes next.

BITCOIN HAS BROKEN THE TRADITIONAL 4-YEAR CYCLE FOR THE FIRST TIME IN 14 YEARS.
For the first time in Bitcoin’s history, the post-halving year has closed in red.
In past cycles, the pattern was consistent:
- Halving year usually closes green
- The year after the halving has historically been even stronger
- Then a cycle top and a deep bear market
This time looks different.
2024 (halving year) closed strong. 2025, instead of continuing higher, closed in red.
That breaks a 14-year pattern.
But this doesn’t automatically mean Bitcoin is weak. What’s changed is what drives Bitcoin now.

Happy New Year! 🤑
The Funding Rate Heatmap shows no outliers in terms of very hot or cold funding rates across the market the past 3 months.
We're in this slow phase of consolidation after the initial drop where we see end/start of the year re-balancing and the market looking for a reason to move.
This generally takes time and generally you're best off just waiting for that momentum to kick back in, before actively participating again.

$TOTAL Market Cap not the prettiest look but technically still at a higher low.
The trend has not been very steady relative to other cycles. But I guess this is what we'll have to do it with for the time being.
Pretty important high timeframe region here going into 2026.

🚨BREAKING: THE FED JUST INJECTED $74.6B INTO THE FINANCIAL SYSTEM.
The largest liquidity injection in the last 12 months.
On the final days of 2025, banks pulled $74.6B from the Fed’s Standing Repo Facility, backed by Treasuries and mortgage bonds.
This was the largest single day usage ever since Covid.
This is not emergency QE or money printing.
What we’re seeing is a year end funding squeeze, something that happens almost every December. Banks often reduce private borrowing at year end to make balance sheets look clean.
When private funding tightens, they temporarily borrow from the Fed in

🚨BREAKING: Michael Saylor’s $MSTR has now crashed -66% from $457 to $152 in the last 6 months.
Nearly $90 billion has been wiped out from the strategy’s market cap.
Reasons for this decline are the BTC price crash from $126k to $87k, heavy share dilution, index delisting risks, and NAV premium collapse.
Today MSTR holds $59 billion worth of BTC while its current market cap is $46 billion, so it’s now trading at a -20%-25% discount.

Trump Media plans 1:1 blockchain token rewards for shareholders.
Trump Media intends to issue blockchain tokens to shareholders at a 1:1 ratio, but these tokens do not equate to ownership in the company. Shareholders will receive a crypto token separate from their shares. This move is part of Trump Media's strategy to engage with shareholders using blockchain technology. The tokens will not confer any ownership rights or dividends. This development showcases a novel approach by a mainstream company to incorporate blockchain and crypto into its operations, potentially influencing how other fir

🚨 Let's be honest for a second… 🚨
Many people are currently living under the illusion that Bitcoin will do the same thing as silver:
🚀 a sudden explosion
📈 a direct surge
💰 and a target of $400,000 as if it's just a matter of time
We've seen the same thing before 👀
Remember when everyone was certain that Bitcoin would literally follow the M2 money supply?
What happened? ❌ Nothing.
The lesson is simple but harsh:
❌ Don't base your investments on wishes and hopes
❌ Don't bet on "maybes" and "what ifs"
✔️ Go with the trend
✔️ Respect the market
✔️ And base your decisions on reality, not dre

Gold is poised to outperform Bitcoin by a factor of 17 in 2025.
Gold experienced a surge of over 70% in 2025, propelling its market capitalization to $30.6 trillion and cementing its position as the world's most valuable asset. In contrast, Bitcoin has declined by approximately 7% since the beginning of the year, with a market capitalization of just $1.76 trillion – roughly 17 times less than gold.
Despite this current dominance of the precious metal, historical data shows that Bitcoin has outperformed gold in most previous years. However, its extreme volatility continues to make gold a safer

🔥 Crypto fatigue is becoming apparent 🫠
Bitcoin is lagging behind, while stocks, gold, and other risk assets are soaring 🚀
This isn't exactly what the markets expected in Q4.
The question now is:
Why is BTC underperforming compared to others?
And how might this scenario affect the outlook for 2026? 👀📉
Are we witnessing a temporary lull… or a deeper repricing phase?

Long positioning dominates the market — liquidation risk is skewed downward
According to the futures liquidation map, the market is heavily tilted toward LONG positions, increasing downside fragility.
🟠 BTC downside trigger: around $78,800, potential LONG liquidations exceed $4.38b
🟠 ETH downside trigger: around $2,640, potential LONG liquidations exceed $3.47b
🟠 Majority of open interest is positioned for continuation, not protection
🟠 One-sided leverage historically increases the probability of sharp downside moves
🟠 This is not sentiment — it’s mechanical pressure from derivatives posi
