"It's not that I can't afford to play anymore, it's that the crypto circle won't let me play"

This morning, just after chatting, a friend who had been trading crypto for six or seven years said he was quitting.

It doesn't look like he's just venting—he really quit. Uninstalled exchanges, left group chats, deleted market apps.

He got in pretty early, bought BTC when it was over twenty thousand, bought ETH when it was just a few hundred. If he had held until now, he should have made quite a bit. But in between, he switched to altcoins, chased hot topics, added leverage, caught falling knives at the halfway point, and after going through a full cycle, basically lost it all.
