US Bank Analyst Says Bitcoin in Oversold Sector
Michael Hartnett warns that if the S&P 500 falls further to around 6600 points, it could trigger policy responses from the White House or Federal Reserve.
Hartnett lists surging oil prices, prolonged Iran conflict, and global instability as triggering factors.
He also points out that assets like gold, semiconductors, and European stocks are already in overbought territory, while oversold sectors including software, bank loans, and Bitcoin may stabilize after policymakers intervene.
Potential intervention measures include easing tariffs, promoting conflict de-escalation, or Federal Reserve stimulus through rate cuts and bond purchases.
