Meta's Metaverse division, Reality Labs, has laid off hundreds of employees.

According to Mars Finance, as reported by BitcoinNews, Meta has conducted large-scale layoffs in its Metaverse division Reality Labs, affecting more than 100 people. The layoffs mainly impact teams responsible for developing VR headset experiences and Metaverse hardware research and development. Meta spokesperson Tracy Clayton confirmed the layoffs, stating that some teams are undergoing “structural adjustments” with the aim of “improving the company’s work efficiency in future mixed reality experience development.”
