PANews, October 22, reported that the non-profit organization SEAL has announced the launch of a global real-time anti-phishing defense network, collaborating with MetaMask, WalletConnect, Backpack, and Phantom to provide users with real-time phishing protection through its “verifiable phishing report” technology. This tool allows users to submit reports of phishing websites and ensures the authenticity of the content through encryption verification, enabling automated and reliable real-time processing to bypass advanced phishing techniques. SEAL has successfully targeted multiple phishing gangs over the past two years and has established a global immune system by collaborating with industry partners, utilizing decentralized networks to protect community safety. MetaMask, WalletConnect, Backpack, and Phantom have all stated that partnering with SEAL will further enhance user security. SEAL plans to continue expanding its detection and defense capabilities and invites more wallet teams and security researchers to join the defense network.
