Leveraging its capabilities in digital-asset trading and infrastructure, Gate will, within a compliant framework, advance the connection between on-chain payments and real-world payment systems, and explore real-world use cases for stablecoins in cross-border settlement, business payments, and fund distribution. The announcement states that several entities under Gate have already completed or obtained relevant regulatory registrations, licenses, authorizations, or approvals in multiple jurisdictions including Malta, Italy, Gibraltar, and The Bahamas, providing support for participation in the global payment ecosystem.
