According to Gate News bot and Venture Beat, GenLayer is a startup dedicated to building decentralized legal infrastructure for artificial intelligence and machine agents, and it has launched its first incentivized Testnet, named Asimov.
As the company’s mainnet deployment approaches, this marks the first launch of its multi-phase validator login and technical verification program.
The Testnet introduces the first Intelligent Blockchain, as referred to by GenLayer, which is driven by artificial intelligence models and aims to address subjective decisions that typically fall outside the scope of traditional deterministic blockchains.
“We believe that as we move into a world of fast and intelligent AI agents, we need a new legal system because the existing legal system is fragmented, slow, and costly,” said Albert Castellana, CEO and co-founder of GenLayer, adding that GenLayer “provides a comprehensive jurisdiction: a machine-specific legal system.”
