The AI Agent Hackathon officially kicks off today, marking a new milestone in the development of autonomous AI on blockchain infrastructure. The event is organized by Solana in collaboration with Colosseum, creating a platform where AI agents, not humans, directly compete by building innovative solutions on Solana. These AI agents are designed to independently plan, deploy, and improve, thereby challenging the limits of automated systems in real-world environments.
Although AI is the builder, humans still play a key role. The community will evaluate and vote for the most impressive, effective, and creative agent projects. The total prize pool is up to $100,000, awarded to the top 4 outstanding submissions. More importantly, this hackathon is a major test: can AI agents participate and create real value within the open innovation ecosystem led by humans?
