when i was a kid, bedtime was 9 pm. i couldn't wait to be a grownup so i could go to bed anytime i wanted.
now, i can’t go to bed at night

drank one of the most beautiful wines he had ever had in his life (just €5)
at the end of the night, the waiter didn't beg for a 50% tip
instead, the restaurant paid him a respectable living wage without having to rely on charity from the diners
on his way home, he enjoyed a free ride on public transit instead of paying $3,000 a month for a leased car that costs an additional $750 a month in Gas just to operate
then he realized that his American perspective could not grasp the beauty of living in Europe.
